DESCRIPTION
Citrus Glen (Citroncirus x Citrangedin) is one of the most cold resistent variety.

ORIGIN
We don’t know its origin at the moment.

PLANT
-Tree features: A nice looking plant, compact and spherical in shape. Sometimes thorns can be found.
-Leaves: Small round to slightly lanceolate leaves , extremely dark green in colour.

FRUIT
Shape: A small round fruit. It resembles to a small mandarin.
-Taste: Acid and seedy inside. Skin is aromatic.
-Colour: Orange to deep red-orange depending on the harvesting time.

SEASON OF RIPENESS
Citrus Glen starts to ripen from October to January according to climate conditions.
It usually blooms during Spring. However it can produce flowers in other seasons of the year.

HOW TO USE IT
-In the Kitchen: due to its acid content, it can be used like a classic lemon.
-Ornamental: It’s a nice looking plant.
its dark-green colour, and its high productivity makes it a great ornamental choice.

COLD RESISTENCE

According to our tests, in the Greenhouse, or in a covered area, it can resist to a temperature of -10°C.

This variety needs to be grown like a normal Lemon.
