DESCRIPTION
Corsica 2 Clementine (Citrus clementina) is one good quality clementine, categorized as a “early variety”.
PLANT
-Tree features: Plants has a good shape, compact and spherical. Medium growth.
-Leaves: Lanceolate and not too big. They get dark green.
FRUIT
-Taste: Very sweet and juicy, great quality!
Sometimes it can happen to find a seed inside, but it’s so difficult, it’s a seedless variety!
-Colour: Skin and pulp are oranges.
SEASON OF RIPENESS
It starts to ripen from November to January, according to climate conditions.
Corsica 2 Clementine usually blooms during spring. Flowers are white, usually numerous and very fragrant.
HOW TO USE IT
-In the Kitchen: You can squeeze it like a orange. However we reccomend you to eat it like an orange, it’s so sweet!
Good to make juices, you can also use it to make marmalades and cakes.
-Ornamental: It’s a beautiful, compact and spherical shape plant. Especially when it’s full of flowers or fruits.
COLD RESISTENCE
According to our tests, in the Greenhouse, or in a covered area, it can resist to a temperature of -6°C.
This variety needs to be grown like a normal Lemon.
