DESCRIPTION
Ichangensis x Trifoliate Orange is one of the most cold resistent Citrus we produce in our colletion.

PLANT
-Tree features: Very compact and spherical plant with lots of thorns too.

-Leaves: Dark-green, lanceolate to oblate leaves, with a tendency to produce double leaves too.

FRUIT
-Taste: It’s acid and a little bit bitter.
Skin is fragrand but bitter.

-Colour: Yellow to deep yellow depending on the time of harvest.
Inside seeds can be found. Pulp is light yellow.

SEASON OF RIPENESS
It starts to ripen from October to January according to climate conditions.
It usually blooms during Spring, however flowers can be found in other seasons of the year.

HOW TO USE IT
-In the Kitchen: You can squeeze it like a lemon, or zest it.

-Ornamental: You can choose Ichangensis x Trifoliate Orange to create beautiful hedges, as it’s so resistent to cold and coloured during winter.

COLD RESISTENCE

According to our tests, in the Greenhouse, or in a covered area, it can resist to a temperature of -12°C. It’s so resistent.

This variety needs to be grown like a normal Lemon.
