Amalfi Lemon (Citrus limon) is nowadays a simble of italian tradition and heatlh around the World.
As the name suggest, this variety comes from southern Italy: Campania region.

Yes, it’s true: it’s full of lemons over there! And this is the variety you meant.
-Tree features: Plant is medium in vigour and size, with strong branches sometimes a little bit thorny.
-Leaves: Leaves are lanceolate, dark-green in colour, medium in size.
-Shape: Fruit is a bigger lemon in size and shape also. Skin is somewhat bigger in size.
-Flavour: Skin is extremely fragrant, pulp is so refreshing and juicy, making us think to be right in Amalfi!
-Colour: It’s deep yellow in colour outside, light yellow inside.
SEASON OF RIPENESS
Season of ripeness: It starts to ripen from Winter to Spring time, according to climate conditions.
It usually starts to bloom during Spring. However it can produce flowers in other seasons of the year!
HOW TO USE IT
-In the Kitchen: Amalfi Lemon is a must if you like limoncello!
I should not tell you how fragrant, how sweet and how soft is in the mouth!
Marmalades are also amazing to eat, because of its fragrance and its taste.
This fruit can be used in a milion ways. You can zest the skin, squeeze the juice, to make different recipes according to your needs.
-Ornamental: It’s a nice ornamental variety.
According to our tests, in the Greenhouse, or in a covered area, it can resist to a temperature of -6°C.
This variety needs to be maintained like a normal Lemon.
