DESCRIPTION
Clemendor (Citrus reticulata) is considered to be a mutation of the classic Mandarine.

PLANT
-Tree features: Plants tend to be quite compact in growth, creating a spherical shape.
-Leaves: Leaves are very small, with short internodes, that’s why it’s very attractive.

FRUIT
Shape: Clemendor fruits are quite flattened at the poles. Sometimes they can also be round shaped.
-Taste: very sweet and juicy. It has a typical mandarin aroma.
-Colour: Orange to light orange depending on the harvesting time.

SEASON OF RIPENESS
It starts to ripen from December, to reach the perfect time of harvest in February about.
It usually blooms during Spring.

HOW TO USE IT
-In the Kitchen: As a Mandarin, you can use it to peel and eat it, to juice it, or making exceptional marmalades.
It’s also good to make italian sorbetto, and gelato.

-Ornamental: It’s a good ornamental choice, because it fills up of fruits and flowers in Spring.
