DESCRIPTION
Coachella Eremolemon (Eremocitrus glauca x Citrus meyerii) is a particular australian citrus variety.
ORIGIN
It is native of Australia, where it grows in difficult and arid zones.
PLANT
-Tree features: Plant seems to be highly cmpacted and spherical in shape.
Branches are quite thorny.
-Leaves: small narrow leaves, grey-green in colour. Short internodes make it be a nice compact plant.
FRUIT
–Shape: It is a small round fruit, similar to a blueberry in size.
-Taste: Taste is so particular and aromatic. It’ s acid inside, with a lemon pepper aroma.
-Colour: Light yellow to deep yellow depending on the harvesting time.
SEASON OF RIPENESS
Coachella Eremolemon starts to ripen from October to December about. It is an early variety.
It usually blooms during Spring time. Flowers are small and white.
HOW TO USE IT
-In the Kitchen: You can create particular recipes. This aroma is ideal to be combined with fish, vegetables or meat.
-Ornamental: It’s a nice looking and compact plant.
COLD RESISTENCE
According to our tests, in the Greenhouse, or in a covered area, it can resist to a temperature of -5°C.
This variety needs to be grown like a normal Lemon.
