DESCRIPTION
US.119 (Duncan Grapefruit x Trifoliate Orange x Succory Orange) is a particular Citrus hybrid.
Basically, trifoliate orange gives cold resistence, orange and grapefruit gives this variety a particular aroma and growing.

PLANT
-Tree features: Us.119 is similar to a Grapefruit and an Orange combined in growing.
It’s spherical and compact. Sometimes we can see falling branches, due to grapefruit part.
-Leaves: Lanceolate, sometimes more round and dark green.

FRUIT
-Taste: It tastes like an orange and a Grapefruit combined. It seems to be a very high quality fruit.
-Colour: Yellow to dark yellow, depending on the ripening.

SEASON OF RIPENESS
It starts to ripen from November to February according to the climate.
It usually blooms during Spring.

HOW TO USE IT
-In the Kitchen: we can squeeze it like a Grapefruit to make particular Juices.
Also we can eat it like an Orange, or zest it.
-Ornamental: It’s a beautiful plant, compact and nice looking.

COLD RESISTENCE

According to our tests, in the Greenhouse, or in a covered area, it can resist to a temperature of -12°C. It’s one of the most resistent Citrus!

This variety needs to be grown like a normal Lemon.
