Drysicky cv Lumia (Citrus lumia)

DESCRIPTION
Drysicky cv Lumia (Citrus lumia) is a good quality variety in the group of “lumia” Citrus.

ORIGIN
We still don’t know which is its origin.

PLANT
-Tree features: Plant is highly vigorous, with long and thorny branches, which tend to lignify quickly.
-Leaves: Long, lanceolate and dark-green leaves.

FRUIT
–Shape: Fruit shapes resembles the one of a small Citron, with a thik skin. Sometimes there are seeds inside.
-Taste: Taste is a little bit acid inside. Skin is highly used, aromatic and sweet.
-Colour: Light Yellow to yellow outside, depending on the harvesting time. Light yellow inside.

SEASON OF RIPENESS
It starts to ripen during winter.
It usually blooms during Spring time. However, flowers can be found in other seasons of the year.

HOW TO USE IT
-In the Kitchen: As a Citron, you can use Drysicky to zest its skin or squeeze its juice.
-Ornamental: It’s a vigorous and strong plant to see.

COLD RESISTENCE

According to our tests, in the Greenhouse, or in a covered area, it can resist to a temperature of -5°C.

This variety needs to be grown like a normal Lemon.
