DESCRIPTION
Late Navel Sweet Orange (Citrus sinensis) is a high quality orange variety of our collection.

ORIGIN

We still don’t know its origin: it probably comes from Spain.

PLANT

-Tree features: Plant is very compact-spherical in growth, similar to a classic Washington Navel Orange in shape.
-Leaves: leaves are Lanceolate, dark-green in colour, medium in size.

FRUIT

-Shape: Fruit is a round orange, medium in size.
-Flavour: It’s so sweet, juicy and usually seedless inside
-Colour: Orange to deep orange outside, light orange inside.

SEASON OF RIPENESS

Season of ripeness: It starts to ripen from Spring to Summer time: it’s a Late ripening variety!
It usually starts to bloom during Spring time.

HOW TO USE IT

-In the Kitchen: Late Navel Sweet Orange can be used just like any other classic orange in the Kitchen.
Fruit can be squeezed, or zested according to your needs, giving your recipes a special aroma!
You can make amazing marmalades, liquors, desserts with it!
-Ornamental: it’s a good ornamental choice.

COLD RESISTENCE

According to our tests, in the Greenhouse, or in a covered area, it can resist to a temperature of -8°C.

This variety needs to be maintained like a normal Lemon.
