SR 67 Clementine (Citrus clementina)
DESCRIPTION
SR 67 Clementine (Citrus clementina) is a good quality clementine, originally from Corse, categorized as a “early variety”.
PLANT
-Tree features: medium vigorous, compact to spherical shaped depending on pruning too.
-Leaves: SR 67 Clementine has lanceolate, dark-green leaves. A nice looking fooliage.
FRUIT
-Taste: Sweet and very juicy. It’s an easy peeling fruit, with no seeds inside. It’s seedless.
Obviously , however , sometimes some seeds are found.
-Colour: Skin and pulp are orange.
SEASON OF RIPENESS
It starts to ripen from November to January, according to climate conditions.
It usually blooms during Spring. Flowers are white and very fragrant.
HOW TO USE IT
-In the Kitchen: You can squeeze it or eat it like a classic clementine. It’s sweet and easy peling.
You can also use it to make marmalades and cakes. Also zested is a good choice.
-Ornamental: It’s a beautiful spherical shaped plant, especially when it’s full of flowers and fruits.
COLD RESISTENCE
According to our tests, in the Greenhouse, or in a covered area, it can resist to a temperature of -8°C
This variety needs to be grown like a normal Lemon.
