Double Blood Orange x Meyer Lemon is one of the most particular Citrus hybrid we have in our collection.
Due to its amazing fruit, obviously.

PLANT
-Tree features: Plant seems to be vigorous and similar to an Orange in therms of growth.
-Leaves: Leaves are dark green, lanceolate and quite hard to broke.
Sometimes thorns can be found too.
It also is a very cold resistent variety.

FRUIT
-Taste: Fruit is a beauty for its stravagant colour. It tastes exactly like an orange and a meyer lemon combined.
You can taste the sweetness of the orange, and the acid typical of a lemon.
-Colour: Colour is impressing. Fruit is speckled with different colours (red and orange).

SEASON OF RIPENESS
Double Blood Orange x Meyer Lemon starts to ripen from November to February , depending on climate conditions.
It usually blooms during spring.

HOW TO USE IT
-In the Kitchen: You can squeeze it like a lemon.
-Ornamental: Obviously, this is one of the best, if not the best citrus ornamental variety.
its colour and dark fooliage, makes it amazing to enrich your garden or a balcony.

COLD RESISTENCE

According to our tests, in the Greenhouse, or in a covered area, it can resist to a temperature of -12°C.

This variety needs to be grown like a normal Lemon.
