DESCRIPTION
Honey Pomelo (Citrus grandis) is one of the best pomelos in flavour we have in our greenhouse.

PLANT
-Tree features: Plants are very vigorous and strong in growth.
You can see those big branches growing faster than you though.
-Leaves: Leaves are big, lanceolate to round shape and present hair.
FRUIT
–Shape: usually Honey Pomelo is round-shaped, occasionaly it can become pear-shaped.
-Taste: very sweet, one of the best quality pomelo! That’s why it’s found in supermarkets.
-Colour: Yellow to deep yellow depending on the harvesting time. Light yellow and fleshy inside.
SEASON OF RIPENESS
It starts to ripen from November to Feruary about.
It usually blooms during spring.
HOW TO USE IT
-In the Kitchen: Pomelo salads are a must! You can mix it with oil, salt, and other vegetables to make a great combination of flavours.
-Ornamental: It’s a strong and good looking variety, very impressing to see.
COLD RESISTENCE
According to our tests, in the Greenhouse, or in a covered area, it can resist to a temperature of -8°C.
This variety needs to be grown like a normal Lemon.
