DESCRIPTION
Lunario Lemon (Citrus limon) is a 4 season Citrus variety of our collection.

ORIGIN
It probably comes from southern Italy, in particular Sicily, where it’s highly grown.

PLANT

-Tree features: Plant is vigorous in growth, spherical and compacted in shape. Sometimes we can found thorns.
-Leaves: Leaves are lanceolate, dark-green in colour, medium in size.

FRUIT

-Shape: Fruit is a long lemon in shape and size.
-Flavour: Skin is so aromatic, pulp is refreshing in taste, and it’s a little bit seedy inside.
-Colour: Bright yellow to deep yellow according to the harvesting time.
Juice is light yellow in colour.

SEASON OF RIPENESS

Season of ripeness: Lunario Lemon is a 4 season variety. It can produce fruits every season of the year.
It usually starts to bloom during Spring time, then it continues during Summer and Autumn.

HOW TO USE IT

-In the Kitchen: Fruit can be used just like any other lemons we know!
You can squeeze the juice, zest and cut the skin to aromatize your delicious recipes.

-Ornamental: It’s a beautiful ornamental variety for its 4 season tendency.

COLD RESISTENCE

According to our tests, in the Greenhouse, or in a covered area, it can resist to a temperature of -6°C.

This variety needs to be maintained like a normal Lemon.
