Brazilian Sweet Lemon (Citrus limon) is a good quality Lemon coming, as the name suggest, from Brazil.
-Tree features: It’s a compacted and dense plant with a thik fooliage. Branches are quite thorny, and tend to lignify quickly.
-Leaves: Dark green lanceolate leaves.
–Shape: Brazilian Sweet Lemon looks like a classic lemon in size and shape.
-Taste: Its peculiarity is in the taste. It’s so sweet and juicy inside!
-Colour: Bright yellow to deep yellow depending on the harvesting time.
SEASON OF RIPENESS
It starts to ripen from November to February according to climate conditions.
It usually blooms during Spring time, however flowers can be seen in other seasons of the year.
HOW TO USE IT
-In the Kitchen: Due to its sweetness, it can be eaten like an orange!
You can also squeeze it, or zest it to make delicious cakes.
-Ornamental: It looks like a classic lemon, so it’s quite similar.
According to our tests, in the Greenhouse, or in a covered area, it can resist to a temperature of -6°C.
This variety needs to be grown like a normal Lemon.
