Marsh Seedless Grapefruit (Citrus paradisi) is a very interesting Grapefruit variety in our collection!
As the name suggest, there are no seeds inside!
-Tree features: This is a erect shaped variety, with strong and a little bit falling branches, typical of the Grapefruit.
-Leaves: Thik, dark green foliage. Leaves tend to be lanceolate to slighly round.
–Shape: Round, to slightly flattened at the poles.
-Taste: It tastes good! It’s a sweet and juicy Grapefruit, with no seeds inside.
-Colour: Bright yellow to yellow outside, depending on the harvesting time, light yellow inside.
SEASON OF RIPENESS
Marsh Seedless Grapefruit starts to ripen from November to February about, but sometimes it can hold well on the tree for several months.
It usually blooms during Spring time.
HOW TO USE IT
-In the Kitchen: You can squeeze the juice and drink one of the most refreshing Grapefruit juice ever!
It’s also a good choice to be combined with fish, meat or vegetables.
-Ornamental: It’s a dark-green beautiful and compact plant, especially with those bright fruits on it!
According to our tests, in the Greenhouse, or in a covered area, it can resist to a temperature of -6°C.
This variety needs to be grown like a normal Lemon.
